As Vice President of Finance, Bill Unger is responsible for many of the internal operations of Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp., including: finance and accounting, business management and contracts, information technology, facilities, performance initiatives and company-level business metrics. Bill is focused on building strong financial structures and planning tools and driving financial and business performance. He serves as the company's central source of financial information.
Bill joined Ball Aerospace following 20 years in the finance organization of Honeywell Inc. He served as Vice President of Pricing for Honeywell Aerospace. From 2001 to 2003, he was the CFO/Director of Finance for Honeywell Business, Regional, General Aviation. From 1998 to 2001, Bill was the Director of Finance for Honeywell Space Systems. Previous assignments at Honeywell from 1984 through 1998 were in the controller, financial planning, and financial analysis disciplines. Bill started his career at Norwest Bank in 1982.
Bill has a Master’s degree in International Finance from the American Graduate School of International Management and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from St. Johns University of Collegeville, MN. He is also a Certified Management Accountant.
