As vice president and lead executive for the Defense and Intelligence Community for Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp, Fred Doyle is responsible for strategy and customer cultivation in defense and intelligence markets.
Previous positions at Ball Aerospace include vice president and general manager of National Defense and the National Security Space strategic business units.
Fred joined Ball Aerospace in 2005 as vice president of special programs. In this role, he managed key classified programs supporting national security.
From 1998 to 2005, Fred held various executive-level positions at Space Imaging. Prior to joining the private sector, Fred spent 20 years in government service with the Defense Mapping Agency, the Central Intelligence Agency and the National Reconnaissance Office. Fred was a member of the Senior Intelligence Service and provided systems engineering and leadership to multiple developmental, operational and modernization programs.
Fred holds a master’s degree in photogrammetry from Purdue University and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Virginia Tech.
