At today’s event, Lockheed Martin officials discussed the global security and economic benefits of the F-35 and provided a status update on the program. Members of the audience had the opportunity to “fly” the F-35 cockpit demonstrator, a visually and audibly interactive simulator that provides a realistic look at the F-35’s performance, air-to-air and air-to-ground capabilities, sophisticated sensor fusion and advanced computational capabilities.
